Head Coach Keith Henderson
Keith Henderson was named the fifth head coach in Grissom High
School history in June of 2010. He has been a part of the Grissom
football program since 2003 as both a Defensive and Offensive
Line Coach. He has also coached Wrestling and Track during his tenure here.
Prior to his arrival at Grissom he was at Sparkman High School
where he began as Offensive Line/Defensive Line Strength coach
from 1994-1999, became the Head Football Coach from 1999-2002
and the Head Wrestling Coach from 1994-2002.
Coach Henderson earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Education and the other in Recreation from Jacksonville State University. He also received a football scholarship to JSU upon his graduation from Butler High School in 1985. He was named the 1988 & 1989 All Gulf South Conference Center. After graduation he was hired as a graduate assistant coaching the Centers and Guards at JSU, as well as acting as the Strength Coach. In 1994 he took a position at Dadeville High School as the Offensive/Defensive Line Strength Coach.
Coach Henderson was named to the Jacksonville State University All Century Team (1st Team)Center and to the Gulf South Conference All Decade Team(1980's). He is also a member of the Huntsville Madison County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2008.
Coach Henderson and his wife Cari have five beautiful children. Emily
Grace, Hayden Michael, John-David, Hillary Kate, and Harper Elise.
